c1950s Bracelet with Clear Rhinestones
Description
This elegant bracelet delights with its variety of sparkling clear rhinestones! It features eight rounded sections, made in silvertone metal and each set with six circular stones plus a slim rectangular stone at their centre. The sections are linked via eyecatching, oblong-shaped stones, which are prong-held to individual silvertone metal frames - the latter have also been embellished with tiny round stones. Even the visible top of the fold-over clasp has been decorated with clear rhinestones. The reverse side reveals smooth and gleaming silvertone metal, with the foil backing of the oblong stones being visible within their metal frames. The foil backs and faceted design of the stones give an impressively bright and sparkling finish, which provides the bracelet with its glamorous appeal!

Excellent. This attractive bracelet has stood the test of time very well, with a brightness and clarity that the photos do not do justice to. All the stones are present (although we think it likely that some of the glued stones may be replacements from over the years), and they show a glittering appearance throughout. The large, prong-held, oblong stones are particularly impressive, and examination with a magnifier reveals minimal nicks to their glass. The very well-preserved condition of the back of the bracelet appears to indicate that it was seldom worn, as we can see little evidence of scratching or wear to the metal. The same applies to the fold-over clasp, which closes tightly and securely. This is certainly an eyecatching bracelet, which we think would be a perfect accessory not just for evening occasions, but also for a vintage-style bride.
